Please review and execute this consent to share your AirPods accelerometer and gyro data (“AirPods Data”), which will be collected during an approximate 10 second window after either a Siri Announce or after a user session that allows for your binary confirmation using head gestures.  The radar you submit will collect your Apple ID and any additional data or observations you submit (“Radar Data”), which will be tied to your AirPods Data.

Your Radar Data and AirPods Data (collectively, “Data”) may be used to triage issues where the user’s motion is not correctly identified as a supported gesture (nod/shake) and to assist in the development, design, improvement, and/or support of AirPods and related Apple technologies, including algorithms (“Purposes”). Access to your Data will be limited to and used by identified individuals on teams at Apple who need access to the Data for the Purposes.

You have the right to request access to any personal data you share and the right to request that any such personal data be corrected, amended, blocked, or deleted. In some circumstances, we may not be able to complete your requests, for example if we have de-linked your Radar Data from AirPods Data, or where applicable law would permit or require us to continue processing certain of your personal data.

Your Data may be shared with Apple Inc. in the United States as well as affiliates in other countries that may not have laws as protective as the data protection laws in the country where you reside. Your Data will be used and maintained only for the Purposes and it will be protected in accordance with Apple policies, regardless of which affiliate accesses it. If you do not want to permit your Data to be transferred internationally, you should not agree to this Consent.
